Indian School of Mines is constructing an academic library at Dhan- bad in Jharkhand. The library, proposed to be the biggest in the country, will be housed in an eight-storey, centrally air-conditioned building that will cost around Rs 100 crore to build. Seven floors will have a total reader capacity of 3,500. The lobby on each floor will be equipped with 20 computer terminals. Meanwhile, ISM, which is located in Dhanbad, is also developing a seven storey new academic building at a cost of Rs 93 crore.
